Friends of the Library Book Sale, This Thursday-Saturday

The Friends of the Library are holding a book sale starting this Thursday (tomorrow) at 4:00pm going through Saturday at 3:00pm. The Thursday sale is a preview and is open ONLY to Friends members, but you can join at the door for as little as $5!

If you’re not interested in joining the Friends of the Library, there’s still good news — the sale is open to the public on Friday and again on Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

This is a great way to snag some books at a great price as well as support a great cause.  All proceeds from the sale go to library events such as the Summer Reading Program.

Summertime Idea: Kids Bowl FREE at the Pinnacle!

This deal doesn’t start until May, but I wanted to go ahead and post so you could have a heads up for this summer.  May 15 – August 15, the Pinnacle Family Entertainment Center is participating in Kids Bowl Free! This program is designed by bowling centers to give back to the community and provide a safe, secure, and fun way for kids to spend time this summer.

Children whose age does not exceed a limit by a participating bowling center are eligible to register for 2 free games a day, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations.
