Mint.com: FREE Money Management Software from Intuit

Mint.com is one of my absolute favorite programs in the world.  Keeping tabs on where our money is going is important to me, and Mint makes it so incredibly easy.  Mint brings all your financial accounts together online or on your mobile device, automatically categorizes your transactions, lets you set budgets, and helps you achieve your savings goals. Mint is a trusted service from the makers of TurboTax and Quicken with over 7,000,000 users.  They’ve won tons of awards from places like Money Magazine, Times Magazine, and CNN Money.  They use the same secure encryption that banks use, so your information is always safe — all data is protected and validated by VeriSign and TRUSTe.

So all that said, how does Mint work?

Mint connects to your bank account and other financial accounts (e.g. mortgage, student loans, etc.) and automatically pulls all your financial information into one place, so you can finally get the entire picture.  It automatically updates and categorizes your information, and suggests ways to help you save. It can even send automatic alerts—like bill reminders—to your mobile phone or email.  You can set up a category-based budget, set goals to pay down debt or save up cash, view your spending habits in the form of a pie or bar chart so you can see how much you really spend at Starbucks every month (*coughcough*)… I’m honestly not sure if there’s anything that Mint doesn’t do!

Best of all, Mint is 100% FREE.  Sign up today and be amazed at how in-control you’ll feel over your money.
